Ould Er-Rachid denies alleged refusal of US State Department to meet CORCAS delegation

Chairperson of the Royal Advisory Council for Sahrawi Affairs (CORCAS), Khalihenna Ould Er-Rachid categorically denied a Spanish paper's allegation saying that the US State Department would have refused to receive a CORCAS delegation in Washington.

In response to a question at a press conference in Madrid, Ould Er-Rachid said he "has not lodged any request for a meeting" to the US State Department and consequently "this information is completely false." The Spanish daily "La Razon" had diffused this allegation on the eve of the visit that Ould Er-Rachid started on Friday to Madrid, following a series of meetings he held with politicians and MPs in France.
